Need a little
Sweet Pea?
Sweet pea means "delicate
pleasure".
FINALLY a cat of my own. I searched on petfinder.org and found her. She
was very unhappy and skeletal when I took her. She's healthy and happy now!
In the past I have housed daughter-in-law's cat, stepson's cat. FINALLY one of
my own. And she is my DREAM cat. Gorgeous calico, wonderful disposition, lives
to lie in my lap, follows me everywhere, with lots of personality.
It's like she was painted by God just for me. Dark calico on top, a finger print
of gold on the chin and cheek, lots of white on the underside,
one blue eye, one yellow eye, .
The minute I sit down, she's in my lap quickly making herself at home.
She is a shadow junkie. One time
she was on my desk looking down, stalking her own head shadow.
She is a plastic junkie. She bites plastic (I read it's the odor cats like) then she stops with her mouth slightly open panting slightly at the high of it.
She loves drinking water out of a glass (likes to put her head in up to her
neck). That's her glass in the background. The water level has to be right
there. I haven't managed a pic of her doing it yet.
She turns over like a dog, on command. Got to get video.
She explores the tiniest corners of every area she can get into, whether it's low or high. She has to sit behind me when I'm at my computer, or walks behind my computer gingerly, over all the office supplies, into my in basket, and happily grooms herself while I'm typing away.
She loves her cat tree.
The bottom of her tree.
Peeking from the top of her tree.
Chilling on the top floor.
Sometimes she's deep in thought.
She'll let herself be posed sometimes.
And caught at the moment you see her crazy wild self.
She loves her toys - the store bought ones,
and the makeshift ones.
And then she'll forget there's a new makeshift toy and spend minutes between
floors staring at the object.
I have a little brother now.
